Selected as an adopted researcher for the 6th academist Prize, Humanities & Social Sciences edition (supported by Infomart). The cohort was unveiled at a launch event on 1 September at Inspired.Lab and online, marking the start of the research crowdfunding campaign.

Presented research at the 26th JAXA Space Science Symposium. Afterwards discussed planetary defence governance with Dr. Makoto Yoshikawa, Hayabusa2 mission manager and head of the JAXA Planetary Defence Team, at the JAXA Space Science Centre.

Presented "Who Speaks for Humanity on the Moon?" at the CCIR Research Symposium 2026, University of Cambridge (30–31 July).

Selected as one of 20 mentees worldwide for the 2026–27 Young Women in Non-Proliferation and Disarmament Mentorship Programme, run by the Vienna Center for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation (VCDNP) under the EU Non-Proliferation and Disarmament Consortium. Will attend the EUNPDC Annual Conference in Brussels in November 2026.

Selected as one of thirty innovators for the Innovation Cup, a Recruit Holdings hackathon supported by Google Cloud, OpenAI and Indeed, with $70,000 in prizes and accelerations. To be held in Silicon Valley, 25–27 September 2026.

Both entries to the Global Trust Challenge — Govern the Human and Faultline — advanced to the Prototyping phase (80 teams worldwide; 6 from East Asia, two of which are these projects). The Challenge originates from a G7 call to action and is led by the IEEE Standards Association, the OECD, and AI Commons, with UNESCO as a founding partner.

Paper "Naming as Authority: Attribution as Interpretive Authority in Cyber Conflict, and Its Stakes for AI Governance" accepted at Data for Policy 2026 (8–10 September, Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, in partnership with Cambridge University Press & Assessment).

Served as staff at SPACETIDE 2026, the largest space conference in Asia-Pacific.

SG[Japan] 2026 (Space Generation Advisory Council) held in Tokyo, 4–5 July. As Space Policy Programme Chief, designed the Space Policy Day and its workshops — including a six-actor negotiation on removing non-cooperative debris — and moderated the day.

Selected by JAXA as a delegate to the International Space Education Board (ISEB) at the International Astronautical Congress 2026.

Invited talk at the Global Innovation Gathering (GIG) in Berlin, a community of innovation hubs, makerspaces and grassroots technologists rooted in the Global South.
